Murtech Industries, LLC – Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement describes how Murtech Industries, LLC (“Murtech”) collects, stores, uses, and transfers personal information.

This Privacy Statement applies when Murtech is storing, modifying, transferring or otherwise using personal information (this is referred to as “processing” your personal information). This Privacy Statement does not apply to other information that Murtech may process.

Personal Information is any information about a specific individual or that identifies or may identify a specific individual. Examples of personal information that we may process include:

Children’s Privacy Rights

Murtech’s websites and mobile applications are not intended for use by children, especially those under the age of 13, and Murtech does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

How Personal Information is Collected

Murtech collects personal information in a variety of different ways. Customers provide personal information through their business relationship with Murtech. Suppliers can provide personal information through their business relationships involved in acquiring, marketing, or selling Murtech products. Murtech processes your personal information where it is permitted to do so under applicable data protection laws only for its legitimate business purposes. Murtech will always ask your consent for collection of personal information. Such consent may be provided in a manner appropriate to the context of the collection.

Use, Retention and Disposal of Personal Information

Murtech uses personal information for the purposes for which it was collected. Personal information may also be processed in order to meet legal requirements, complying with lawful orders to provide information and meeting contractual commitments. Personal information is vital to our management and administration of customer and supplier relationships. Murtech may use customer personal information to conduct business operations, market new products, assess internal performance, manage customer relationships and support various administrative functions.

Murtech utilizes reasonable measures to protect personal information. These measures are appropriate to the risks posed by the type of personal information and to the sensitivity of the personal information and take into account the requirements of applicable local law. Murtech stores personal information as needed to accomplish the purposes identified above and to meet legal requirements, including record retention. When personal information is no longer useful to Murtech, personal information will be destroyed, in accordance with local law.

Access to Personal Information

Murtech takes steps to maintain the accuracy and completeness of personal information. You may request and will receive reasonable access to the personal information you have provided to Murtech and have an opportunity to correct it if necessary. Transfer of Personal Information

Murtech is located in the United States of America and operates in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico. Murtech may transfer personal information between those countries and by providing personal information to Murtech you consent to the transfer of that personal information to the United States of America.

Murtech only shares personal information with others in a manner consistent with this Privacy Statement when required by law or with your consent. When Murtech shares personal information with third parties that process the personal information it takes reasonable steps to require such recipients to protect personal information in accordance with applicable laws.

Murtech may share your personal information as is necessary or appropriate to protect, enforce, or defend our legal rights, the privacy or safety of our employee or other individuals and entities, or to comply with or enforce applicable industry standards, law or legal process, including responding to court orders, warrants, subpoenas and other requests from public and government authorities.

Murtech reserves the right to transfer any of the personal information it has about you to proceed with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets to a third party, such as in the event of a merger, acquisition or other disposition, or in connection with a bankruptcy reorganization, dissolution, or liquidation.
